Spencer Levy is Americas Head of Research and a senior member of the company’s global research team. He plays an integral role in the development and implementation of the global research strategy and business plan. An eight-year veteran of CBRE, Mr. Levy had previously served as Executive Managing Director in the company’s Capital Markets division. Mr. Levy oversees the CBRE Research community's analytical activities in the Americas region and is responsible for the management of hundreds of professionals focused on producing market-leading insight and interpretative analysis on the latest real estate trends. Spencer is a frequent speaker before industry groups, including NAIOP, ICSC, ULI and CREW. Mr. Levy is a graduate of Cornell University and Harvard Law School.
As Americas Chief Economist, Jeffrey Havsy provides the broader commercial real estate community with thought leadership on real estate trends, the macro-economy and economic events. He is also responsible for guiding the Econometric Advisors team, which provides best-of-class research, data, analytical tools and forecasting services to its clients. He has co-authored several research papers on commercial real estate and currently serves as a board member of the Real Estate Research Institute (RERI). He is also a Homer Hoyt Fellow and a Counselor of Real Estate (CRE). Mr. Havsy holds a masters in economics from University of Virginia and a B.A. in Economics from Lehigh University.
