Eric Stephenson, CFA, is a Sr. Research Consultant with CBRE Econometric Advisors. Eric joins EA from CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) Insights where he developed various sustainability products and analytical tools for client teams and prospects.
Prior to joining CBRE in 2022, Eric was a portfolio manager in New York City where he managed debt and equity portfolios specializing in energy commodities, energy transition and sustainable energy investments at alternative asset firms. Eric began his career as an investment banker in NYC where he held senior positions at Banc of America and BT Alex Brown structuring and pricing high yield debt offerings across the energy and industrial sectors.
Eric earned a BA (Government/Petroleum Engineering) from The University of Texas-Austin, an MBA (Finance) from Texas Tech University, and a MS (Sustainable Development) from Columbia University in New York City. Eric is a member of USGBC Texas and has passed the LEED GA exam. Eric is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Dallas/Fort Worth.
