Nathan is an economist with CBRE Econometric Advisors. His primary responsibilities include forecasting and analysis of multifamily real estate metrics for the U.S. markets. Together with his colleagues, he works on improvements to EA’s statistical models using his background in machine learning, Bayesian time series, vector auto-regression, and error correction models. He has published research on forecasting water demand and is currently interested in the dynamics between retail construction and apartment demand.
Nathan holds master’s degrees in both mathematics and economics and is in the process of completing a PhD from the University of Washington, Seattle. Before joining CBRE, he was a research assistant at the University of Washington working in labor economics and policy effectiveness in education.
